Its all politics

We all knew that the two political parties DMK and AIADMK usually resorts to cheap stunts to critisize each other and as usual the only affected is the public. Two recent happenings have just confirmed it.

Scene I:

At Nerkundram, the panchayat board president, a DMK member allegedly put up blocks in residential colonies in Maduravoyal, resulting in heavy inundation of flood water, which otherwise would have drained into a nearby watercourse.

At Valasaravakkam people have complained that the municipal chairman V. Madhiyazhagan, again a DMK member, allegedly broke the sewer lines after the local residents sent a letter to the The Hindu about the irresponsible actions by the municipal during the heavy rains.

Now both these men have been arrested by the police

Scene II:

A lot of people were shocked to see VijaySarathy, host of the popular T.V show Neengal Keeta Padal in Sun TV, hosting the show half submerged in the waterlogged areas of Velachery and Madipakkam critisizing the Government for not taking any action. If DMK really cares about the public they could have improved the drainage system in these areas while they were ruling the State.

The bottom line is whatever may happen or however the people suffer, these parties will still be complaining against each other and try to prove how incompetent the other party is, irrespective of the state of the people. It's time these parties start acting a little mature and stop these cheap shots at each other.
